The Pre-College Engineering Day (PCED) event with LAESA-SHPE will take place this Friday, March 20th, 2015.
On Saturday, March 28th, 2015, we will be assisting as judges in the SeaPerch underwater robotics competition located in Flushing Aquatic Center. Judge training sessions for the SeaPerch event will take place on the following days (you only have to attend one):
Wednesday, March 18th from 6:30 PM – 7:30 PM
Thursday, March 19th from 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
We encourage everyone who is available to attend and help out!
The U.S Department of Energy (DOE) National Science Bowl is a nationwide academic competition that tests students’ knowledge in all areas of science and mathematics. Teams of 5 students (4 competitors and 1 alternate) and 1 adult (coach) compete for a chance to enter the National Science Bowl. This event is targeted towards middle and high school teams, and is a completely free event.
We will be collaborating with LAESA-SHPE to serve as judges for the competition. If you guys are interested, please sign up in the form below:

Pre-College Engineering Day is an event that we are collaborating with LAESA-SHPE to introduce high school student to the wonders of science and engineering careers. This event will take place on Friday, March 20th 2015 in the Great Hall of the Shepard Building. Registrations and introductions will take place in the Great Hall. Scholarship workshops will be given by Dr. Gosser and lab tours will be provided by CCNY volunteers.
